At AmeriTex Home Care, our greatest asset is our employees. That's why we strive to find the best, most experienced staff to care for our patients. In addition to maintaining current licensure status with the regulatory board for a specific discipline, each clinician must have experience in home healthcare and participate in continuing education opportunities throughout the year. In addition, the AmeriTex Home Care sponsors seminars and workshops at no cost to the employees on specific issues that relate to Home Health Care. AmeriTex provides the Home Health Aides to fulfill a minimum of 12 hours of in-service education annually in order to maintain active status. In order to protect those who have entrusted us with their care, we conduct detailed background checks on all of our employees, which include criminal background checks, license verification, employee misconduct registry checks, and professional and personal reference checks upon hire and annually thereafter. Each employee is insured by the Agency. AmeriTex Home Care performs on-going review of our staff's productivity and patient interaction incorporating both formal and informal assessment methods. The clinician's caseload is constantly evaluated to assure that quality of care is being delivered. A formal performance evaluation and competency assessments are conducted by their immediate supervisor, monitored by the Director of Nurses and integrated in the Agency's overall Performance Improvement Plan.
