AmeriTex Home Care offers health care services within the comfort of the home surrounded by family and friends. Our staff provides care, education, and support to patients and caregivers until they become independent in managing the patient's own care. All services are delivered under the direction of the patient's physician and may include visits by nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, and home health aides. A home health plan of care is individualized to meet specific needs of the client.

Examples of patients receiving home health care include those with a recent hospitalization, outpatient surgery, a temporary or long-term disability, a chronic illness, problems with aging, or those needing rehab therapy.

If you have traditional Medicare and are homebound, under the care of a physician, and require medically skilled services, Medicare will pay for 100% of home health care costs.

Other Insurance plans vary in reimbursement.
