AmeriTex Home Care's mission is to provide you with an easy, time saving process to refer a patient to service, to provide a seamless transition from the hospital to home or facility to home, and to provide a range of comprehensive health care services to meet the needs of the person referring the services and the patient. AmeriTex Home Care's high standards and unique approach to delivering care makes us the preferred choice for your home care needs. Simply call our office and we will be glad to assist you with your referral. Referrals received Monday-Friday before 8:30am or after 5:00pm or on weekends and holidays are handled in the same manner by calling the office at 972-660-2401 and you will be automatically transferred to the nurse on-call directly. If the nurse is on the line and a message needs to be left, please leave your name, the name of the patient, the telephone number and address, and a brief description of the problem. This message will be responded to within 30 minutes. AmeriTex will process home health referrals quickly and professionally. We will collaborate care with appropriate health care personnel and identify patients with complex diagnoses and recognize the need for specialty service. AmeriTex has available staff to perform a pre-evaluation for home health services. We will evaluate the patient within 24 hours of the referral, Monday-Friday. If there is a need for weekend or an after hour evaluation, the time frame for scheduling the evaluation may vary and will be on a case-by-case basis. We will assist with determining equipment, supplies, discipline and frequency needs, as well as making appropriate referrals to obtain service. AmeriTex has educators to provide in-services and CPR training needs for hospitals, facilities, clinics, and assisted living facilities. Anyone may call us when home care services are needed.
